Mr.Stilianides and his team give you great confidence. He has a calming manner and makes the procedure as relaxing as possible. I have been in his theatre 3 times and have always been very well looked after.

In a time when the NHS is under such immense pressure Mr Stylianides is doing a fantastic job. He listens to you and doesn't just fob you off. I'm so very lucky to have received care from him in the NHS. I initially couldn't get through to any of the secretaries in the NHS with my queries but I did manage to speak to his private secretary (Emma) who was kind enough to help me, even though it isn't her job. Thank you for your kind assistance Emma.

The care I received from Mr Nicholas Stylianides was outstanding, from initial consultation, the day of the operation through the post-op appointment - the phone call the day after my operation to check on me was very much appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would certainly go to him again, should I ever need to! He listened, kept me fully informed and was very caring. Great communication with his PA (Emma) too - thank you to Emma as well!

Hi I was very pleased with the surgical outcome of my anal fistula surgery. From Nicholas I got swift, concise and clinical advise re the two main surgical option procedures (laying open or seton) and the end result was a successful and tidy surgery with minimal post-surgery aftereffects e.g. I didn't once need to open my box of painkillers. In terms of constructive feedback and this may not be directly related to Nicholas but when I attended daily wound packing sessions with the Spire nurses (who were all great by the way) several times there was clinical disagreement with the nurses re whether to pack the wound or not.. some patients might find this 'indecision' unsettling but I found it useful knowledge
